What the TOEFL iBT involves
The TOEFL iBT tests all four language skills in one sitting, on a computer at our centre. The test itself takes about two hours, not counting directions. It adapts as you go, so the number of questions and the exact timing can vary.

How the TOEFL is scored
Since January 2026, each of the four sections and the overall result are reported on a 1 to 6 scale. The overall score is the average of the four sections, rounded to the nearest half band. For two years from January 2026 you also receive a comparable score on the familiar 0 to 120 scale, so universities can read either one.

Your test day at our centre
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time so there is room for check-in.
- Bring valid, acceptable photo ID. ETS recommends carrying a second form in case the first is questioned.
- The name on your ID must match the name on your ETS account exactly. If it does not, you cannot sit the test and the fee is not refunded.
- Phones, watches and other electronic, recording or photographic devices are not allowed in the test room.
- Food and drink are not allowed unless you have an approved accommodation, which has to be requested before you register.
- Sign in to your ETS account the day before to confirm your appointment details have not changed.
- Your unofficial Reading and Listening scores appear at the end of the test, and you choose whether to report or cancel them.

Is Ambassadors Education Consultant an official TOEFL test centre?
Yes. We are an official TOEFL iBT test centre in Block 5, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, and you can sit your test at our office.
How much does the TOEFL iBT cost in Karachi?
ETS sets the test fee and it changes from time to time, so we confirm the current figure rather than publish one that goes stale. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you today’s fee and the dates available.
How do I book a TOEFL test at your centre?
Either book it yourself through your ETS account and choose our centre, or contact us and we will complete the registration with you.
What ID do I need on test day?
Valid, acceptable photo ID in the exact name on your ETS registration. ETS recommends bringing a second form as a backup, and advises checking the official ID requirements before you travel to the centre.
How long does the TOEFL iBT take?
About two hours for the test itself, plus check-in time. Arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Yes. Our classes cover all four sections and include full-length mock tests with feedback.
